Mr. William (Bill) R. Boyd ,74 of Florence , the husband of Jeanette L. Boyd passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2020.

Mr. Boyd was born on November 3, 1945 in Horry County to Arthur Boyd and Katie Lee Boyd.

Mr. Boyd was Retired from DuPont of Florence, he was a Air Force Veteran and a Member and past Commander of the VFW post 3181 in Florence.

Surviving are is wife of 36 years , Jeanette L. Boyd of Florence; Daughter, Donna (Lee) Godwin of LakeCity; John Christopher Boyd of Dillon; his mother Katie Lee Boyd; grandchildren, Mason Johnson of LakeCity and Analea (Steven) Cox of LakeCity. Two great grandchildren, Stella and Layla Cox of LakeCity; brother, Roger Lee Boyd of Florence; sister , Patricia (Mike) Williams of Greenwood and Several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Boyd is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Boyd and his sister, Betty Lou Matthews of Florence.

Mr. Boyd leaves behind his beloved pet Roscoe who never left his side.
