Tommy Dale Cox, 71, of Loris, SC passed away Thursday May 12th, surrounded by his family, in his home. He was a lifelong resident of Loris, SC, a graduate of Loris High School, and a graduate of Horry Georgetown Tech as a SC licensed contractor. He owned his own construction company of 35 plus years and was an amazing home builder and master carpenter. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing, but loved it most doing it with his family. He was a simple man and nothing meant more to him than his family and friends.
Tommy is predeceased by his son, Bucky Dale Cox, of Loris. Surviving are his daughter, Tiffany Janine Cox, of Loris and His two grandchildren, Colby Dale Cox and Mason Carter Cox of Loris. Also, the mother of his two children and lifelong friend, Belinda Bell. Tommy has many siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, and long time friends.
He was a very loved man by many and a graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, May 16th at 1:00 pm at Princeville Cemetery, Hwy 9 Business, Loris,SC. Following the service, food will be provided for family and friends at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall . 6907 Hwy 905 Conway, SC 29526
