Robert (Bob) E. Kilgore Jr., age 85, of Carolina Shores, North Carolina, died Tuesday December 7th, 2021 in Conway, South Carolina.
He was born March 4th, 1936 in Copley, Ohio to Robert and Catherine Kilgore who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death, his Wife, Jan of 52 Years, Brother Roy and Granddaugther Tia.
He is survived by two daughters Jeanne and Karen (Rick), and four sons Bobby, Steven, David (Anita) and Michael, 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren. Three sisters, Betty, Irene, and Patty and four brothers, Ronnie, Richard, Ray and Roger.
He spent his childhood on the family farm in Seville, Ohio. A graduate of Akron University and Kent State University. Bob spent 30 years teaching in the Berea School system in Berea, Ohio. He taught science, was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling, growing plants and making stained glass.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Mr. Kilgore is entrusted to the care of Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services, Myrtle Beach, SC.
