Melody Sue Creech

Melody Sue Creech, age 54 of Conway, entered into her heavenly home on Thursday evening, October 22, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Melody was born on July 27, 1966, in Tampa, Florida to the proud parents of Keith and Inez Creech.

She graduated from Toccoa Falls College, Georgia in 1998 where she earned a BA degree in Elementary Education, as Melody would say, “in order to teach little children”.  She taught first grade, special needs students, in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Shortly after, she began employment at the Sun-News working as a Circulation Administrative Assistant.

In her last position, she was employed with the Practice Management Group, LLC working as a credentialing coordinator and manager.

Melody is survived by her parents, Keith and Inez Creech; sisters Paulett Davis, Sabrina Wingo; nephew Christopher Davis, niece Carly Carter (Sean); nephews William Wingo, Lukeus Wingo (Casey); as well as a great-niece and a great-nephew McKinley and Cayden.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Lewis Crematory and Funeral Service Chapel. 

The entire Creech family would like to thank Dr. David Milling and his staff for the wonderful care provided to Melody throughout her battle with her illness as well as the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice Staff for their outstanding medical attention to her needs during her end of life care.

Miss Creech is entrusted to the care of Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services, Myrtle Beach, SC.
