Manfred Strauss Obituary

Manfred Strauss passed away on Tuesday October 20, 2020. Fred as he was known by his friends and family was born on March 19, 1939 in East Germany. In 1959 he achieved one of his life's dreams by coming to America and buying his first car, a Dodge Charger. Once here, he joined the United States Army before attending college and meeting and marrying his wife Mary in 1965. He worked his way up the career ladder to several senior management roles for multinational businesses and ultimately bought his own manufacturing business before retiring in 1990. Fred was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to spend time at his second home in Andes NY. He is survived by his wife, Mary of 55 years; and two sons, Ronald, his wife Kimberly and son Scott; and Jeffrey, his wife Saloni and their daughter Sienna. He will be missed very much.

Mr. Strauss is entrusted to the care of Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services, Myrtle Beach, SC.
