David Zakett Obituary

David Zakett, 64 of N Myrtle Beach, SC passed away at Grand Strand Hospital on Oct. 16, 2020
of complications from Ventricular Tachycardia. David was born on April 15, 1956 in Tarrytown,
New York. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1974. David is preceded in death by his
parents Adam and Mary T Zakett (N Myrtle Beach) and his sister Susan Travis (New York). He
is survived by brothers Donald Zakett (Michigan), Bruce Zakett (New York), Glenn Zakett
(Colorado), 7 nephews, 1 niece and 3 great nephews. David retired to Myrtle Beach after more
than 30 years career working at International Union of Operating Engineers; he enjoyed fishing,
gardening and cooking. The family has chosen to have a private memorial.
