Catherine Eleanor Morrison

As the Angelic Host rejoices with the arrival of another anointed woman of God, those who remain to endure have heavy hearts and indescribable sadness as a result of this tremendous loss. Mrs. Catherine Eleanor Morrison gently laid her head in the Master’s arms and went to sleep in Paradise early Wednesday morning, January 18, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her devoted children and other family members.

On Tuesday, January 18, 2023, Catherine E Morrison, 80, of Loris, SC passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Camden, NJ to William and Florence Bealer.

She was survived by 2 daughters Michelle Austin of Conway, SC, and Catherine Lancour of Loris, SC. As well as a granddaughter, Danielle Phifer, (Bradley) of Gresham, SC who she raised. She was grandma to 2 other granddaughters and 3 grandsons. Her favorite title was granny to her 18 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her best friend Jackie Peake of Winnsboro, SC.

Mrs. Morrison was pre-deceased by her parents and a son, Joseph Morrison, and a granddaughter Candace Lancour.

She moved to Horry County in 1989. She worked as a baker for Bi-Lo where she retired from. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending church at Juniper Bay Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2023, at Juniper Bay Baptist Church. Her family welcomes friends from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM.  Interment will be in Juniper Bay Baptist Church Cemetery.
