Anthony Shawn Jarrett

Shawn Jarrett, 51, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his home.

Shawn was born on July 3, 1970 in Hickory NC to Ann Jarrett.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Ann J & Kenny Prince of Loris, SC., his precious daughter, Marley Grae Bartlett whom he loved very much, his sister, Kristin Burns (Ryan), and nephew, Gabe Smith of Hickory, NC., Aunt Rita Lutz (Rick), of Vale, NC., Great Aunt, Clara Scronce, and Great Uncle, Ned Jarrett (Martha).  He is also survived by his step-grandmother, BJ Knox, step-sisters, Renee Killian (Tom), Suzy Fisher, and Nicole Prince of Surfside Beach, SC., and a step-brother, Ken Prince (Mandy) of Conway, SC., and a special friend, Denise Stephens of Murrells Inlet, SC.  

He was predeceased by his Grandparents; Keith and Pauline Jarrett, Homer and Eoline Jarrett, and also Marley's Mother, Ashley Chandler. 

Shawn loved sports especially playing golf, watching the NC State Wolfpack play basketball and following NASCAR's Kevin Harvick. 

Shawn was baptized into the Lutheran Faith.  He was funny, entertaining, and a great storyteller.  

A Celebration of Life will be held in Hickory at a later date.
