Stephen Walker Monahan

STEPHEN W. MONAHAN of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina died Tuesday October 8, at Conway Medical Center.  Stephen was the son of the late John and Margaret Finnigan Monahan.  Stephen was born May 12, 1951 in the Bronx, N.Y. and is a Vietnam Veteran.  

Survivors include his wife Patricia Blank Monahan and home, his two sons Christopher of Mississippi and Stephen of New Hampshire.  One sister Patricia of Colorado, five brothers, Thomas of Virginia, Frank of N.Y., Neil of Nevada, Christopher of South Carolina and Brian of N.Y. .  He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Owen, Allison, Madailein, Ethan and Garett.  He was predeceased by brothers, William, John and Joseph and two sisters, Margaret Farrell and sister Sister Lydia Monahan O.P. 

 A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday Oct 12, 2019 at Lewis Crematory and Funeral home at 4947 Highway17s Bypass, Myrtle Beach.

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
