Netha Ellen Marinos

Netha Ellen Marinos, 81 of Myrtle Beach joined her husband Paul in eternal rest on August 31, 2019. 

The youngest of eleven children. Netha is survived by her daughter Melanie Marinos Cooper and son Pete (Cyndi) Marinos. Grandchildren Nicholas ( Melanie) , Paul Marinos, Alexandra (Philip), Christian Marinos and Ellen Cooper. Great Granddaugher, Kendall. Sister, Charlotte (Gene)Dodson, Brother in Law Arnie Alsip, Special Niece and Friend Barb Partin. Special friend who was family Shawn Pitman-Anderson (Michael). Many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. 

Netha enjoyed a good political conversation; her fur family, The Kentucky Wildcats and The Cleveland Indians, crafting, solitaire, candy corn, zingers and being outdoors. 

Netha was a graduate of Hammel Business College, retiring from the City of Akron in 1996 after 25 years working in Parks and Recreation. 

Netha was a classy lady who was always the life of the party.  In lieu of a funeral she requested a party and the family will follow her wishes on November 29, 2019 in Akron, details will be announced at a later date. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Marinos is entrusted to the care  of Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services, Myrtle Beach, SC.
