Edward Lawrence Rider

Mr. Edward Lawrence Rider, "Miles", passed away on August 7th, 2019 in Conway, South Carolina.

Mr. Rider was born in Catskill N.Y. on September 20, 1955 to Mr. Lester and Carrie Miller Rider. He moved to Horry County in 1965. He was a former Concrete Laborer and Finisher. Later in life he found that he was great at sheet rocking. Mr. Rider was a very generous and kind man. His favorite hobby was hanging out with his family. He has many friends and family that will greatly miss him. 

Mr. Rider is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Carrie Miller Rider, and his brother Lester Rider Jr. He is survived by his daughter Misty Wells (Chris) and his two grand children Kaliegh and Kaden. His brothers Mark Rider (Valerie), David Rider (Angela), and his sister Brenda Thompson (Randy), and sister in law Wendy Rider.  He has many loving nephews and nieces.

The Memorial will be held on August 17th, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. at Waccamaw Church located at 508 Hwy 90, Conway, SC 29526.  Preacher Dennis Lewis will officiate. 

Mr. Rider is entrusted to the care of Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services, Myrtle Beach, SC.
