Joseph Francis Rizzo

Joseph (Joe) Francis Rizzo, 90, of Myrtle Beach South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 22, 2024.

Joe was born on March 6, 1934, in Boston, Massachusetts. Joe was the husband of Patricia (McLaughlin) Rizzo.

Joe was the father of BettyAnn (Rizzo) Connolly and her husband, Thomas J Connolly. Also the father of the late Thomas (Tommy) H Rizzo. Grandfather of Tammie M Trucchi, Tara A. Iacobucci and her husband, Joseph Iacobucci, Thomas (TJ) Rizzo and Christopher (Chris) Rizzo, great-grandfather of Danika Trucchi, Maxim Trucchi, Owen Cote, Joseph Iacobucci III and Jane Iacobucci.    

Joe worked at Chase Tape in Randolph Massachusetts for over 40 years. Family was the most important thing to Joe known affectionally as Joe, pops, Grampi, and Bumpa.  Joe’s favorite place was Maine where Joe and his wife Pat built a vacation home. 

A memorial service will be held the weekend of June 7,8 or 9 in Vienna Maine (place and time forthcoming). 

A service and cremation was held at Lewis crematory and funeral services on March 27, 2024.

Mr.  Rizzo is entrusted to the care of Kelvin F. Lewis, Funeral Director, and Lewis Crematory & Funeral Services of Myrtle Beach, SC.
